A warm welcome to St Lawrence C E Primary School & Little Lawrences - Napton from Mr John Brine the Head Teacher.

The new academic year is up and running and both the children and school are looking sparkling!

St Lawrence’s has got bigger and now has a brand new Early Years Unit called Little Lawrences. This provides flexible sessional care and education to children of pre-school age i.e. aged 3 in the term of entry up to the official school start age. Do look for more information under the ‘Little Lawrences’ heading.

A lot of the school has been thoroughly refurbished too……and the children tell us that they really love it. The refreshed ICT suite has been well received, they have been amazed by the new research library and they can’t wait to use the new school kitchen to turn our school grown produce into meals and healthy snacks!

Yes, the children have all returned (or joined) enthusiastically and are already filling the crisp white pages of new books with ideas and learning! Whether they are studying about people who help us (EYFS) or about London (KS1) of the Romans (KS2) they enjoy the opportunities to learn and be creative! For more details about this terms curriculum do look at the teacher curriculum letters that are also on this website (from 18th September).

This school is a thriving place and we are aiming to provide outstanding learning opportunities for all of our children. We love the extra curricular clubs that over 90% of our children make use of. We also really appreciate the tremendous support that the parents and wider community give to us….it makes it a special place to both work and learn.

Do enjoy exploring the website and get in contact via e-mail, telephone or by popping in!
